Dear Bishop John,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior! I do believe and again hope that you are doing great with another task/ work that has been assigned to you in leading the country through the reconciliation process of which we have made a tremendous and promising step though there’s a still a long way to go.
I have been blessed beyond measure in being part of the Sonrise community of which you were the founder and a visionary of which I even read in your great book, " The Bishop of Rwanda." After reading it, my life was never the same again and also it gave me a insight into what really happened which also at the end of it, includes the formation of Sonrise of which I became part in 2001. What I am today and the opportunities that I have in my life came through being part of Sonrise, from lower level to the higher level. I really thank you from the deepest bottom of my heart for the education you helped me to get, by allowing me to study in that great institution that I no longer even call it school but my home.
It’s never too late to say thanks and telling people how they have made a big difference in their lives. Sir, you have made a difference in my life! I learned a lot from you and also Sonrise in general. I didn’t get chance to come and tell you this personally but I also I know that you have a lot of things to do. God paved a way for me and now am in USA! That’s where I am sending this email from. To my surprise, I saw your story and Sonrise’s story on a certain TV called Truth TV here in America. How Sonrise was formed and the founder whom God used. No one else other than you!
Thank you very much and may God richly bless you!
PS: I also thank you for your kindness to my entire family.
You’ll always be in our hearts!
